Jason Woods is an award-winning writer, director, composer, and performer whose storytelling spans international stages, film, and the page. A true multi-disciplinary creator, Woods maintains a singular artistic vision by writing, directing, and composing the orchestral scores for his original productions. His stage work has earned critical acclaim both Off-Broadway and internationally, including four honors at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe—including Best New Writing and Best Individual Performance—where The Scotsman hailed him as "a one-man wonderland." As an author, Woods is the creator of The Little Toy Shoppe, a beautifully realized children’s novel published through Bellalore Press, alongside an extensive catalog of original theatrical works including Bing!, Peter Pan, A Mad, Mad Wonderland!, and The Legend of St. Nick. Following his acclaimed short film The Silver Burden, his upcoming feature debut as writer/director is the Southern Gothic Horror Mercy. Whether building intricate worlds on the stage, composing cinematic scores, or crafting narratives on the page, his work is driven by a lifelong fascination with the mechanics of transformation.
